Planner Food Manufacturing - MON-FRI - Yorkshire
Our client is an FMCG UK industry leading manufacturer with 100 years of experience in the industry. An opportunity not to be missed.
The role as a planner will work as part of a small supply chain team to provide a streamlined process from customer orders to finished goods.
·Management of stock levels from raw materials to finished goods, balancing production requirements and shelf life.
·Continuous analysis of minimum order quantities, delivery frequencies, stock holdings with suppliers and implement change where needed.
·Carrying out stock counts, make adjustments on the system and then evaluate and take appropriate action or any corrective measure required.
·Work with internal IT systems and MS office ensuring orders are processed, production plans are produced and systems are up to date.
·Build lasting relationships with internal and external customers minimising potential issues and proactively managing any issues that do arise.
·Working with the logistics team to ensure all raw materials are booked in on time and made available.
·Previous materials co-ordination/planning experience in the FMCG industry.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Experience using various IT systems/packages.
·Can perform under pressure in a fast environment.
·Chilled environment experience desired but not essential.
HACCP qualification or equivalent desired but not essential.
