My client are a leading food manufacturer looking to take on a Part-Time Compliance Officer who is bright and eager to develop as part of the site-based technical services team.
The role is based in Northamptionshire and is a great opportunity for anyone looking to broaden their horizons within the food industry. This position is on a part-time basis and is office-based. Candidate will report to the Group Technical Manager.
The Role:
• Mainteningf QA systems which comply with the BRCGS standard for agents & brokers. This will include many responsibilities including preparing and carrying biannual QA internal audits.
• Ensuring accurate reviewing of group approved supplier list and making decisions based on which suppliers are added or removed via questionnaires
• Responsibility to handle claims by taking part in administration regarding the logging of claims and resolutions (establishing non-conformance reports)
• Endorsing a strong food safety culture at the company
The Candidate:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in technical services
• Food-based degree advantageous
• Key communication/interpersonal skills because of proximity to Management Team (reporting concerns to them)
• Experience working to BRC Agent & Broker standards
