Packing manager
Client
I am working with an exceptional client of mine who are established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add a Packing manager due to the continued growth of the business in the last 12 months
Package
Salary: £40,000
Shift: Monday to Friday
Location: West Essex
Role
• Delivery of the agreed KPIs and performance indicators
• Ensuring all workers are present and working efficiently and effectively and reports on team performance to production manager
• Educates the packing team about health and safety rules and practices
• Communicates expectations to the packing team and appraises their performance
• Establishes priorities to ensure manufacturing team works most efficiently
• Makes recommendations about ways to improve employee efficiency and reduce costs
• Checks manufacturing equipment and control points to ensure efficient workflow is maintained
• Addresses production problems as they arise and organises the repair or replacement of faulty production equipment
Requirements/Experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience of working in a fast-paced consumer good environment, preferably in Food Manufacturing
• Organisational, Planning and Leadership skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised and use own initiative as will be working unsupervised
• Good understanding of operational KPIs
• Good Knowledge of basic food hygiene / health and safety principles
