As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading supply chain operations, logistic flows, and demand planning management for our UK operations. The Package:
Competitive salary of £50,000.
Generous holiday allowance of 25 days, with an additional 2 extra days for your birthday and Christmas Eve.
Company contributory pension scheme with employee contribution of 5%+ and company contribution of 7.5%.
Flexible working arrangements, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the supply chain, logistic flows, and demand planning management, ensuring availability of stock for business growth.
Oversee the Order to Cash process, including order documentation and fulfilment, invoice and payment processing.
Own and optimize the total supply process, from demand planning and stock order to supply, storage, and timely delivery to customers.
Collaborate closely with the Spain HQ to oversee new product-related projects, ensuring effective coordination and implementation.
Resolve customer issues promptly and manage customer and consumer complaints.
Ensure compliance by owning the stock/order planner and managing the product archive.
Manage and develop a high-performing team, including one Operations Assistant.
Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, including logistics partners, freight forwarders, and various teams within the UK and Spain.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in demand planning, with strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in Excel, including V Lookups and pivot tables, is essential.
Previous experience with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft ERP (Nav/365/Business Central).
Sound understanding of the order to cash cycle and supply chain management.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar operations management role.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Demonstrated people management skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Desired Skills and Experience:
International business experience, particularly in the consumer goods industry.
Proficiency in Spanish language.
CIPS qualification (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) is a plus.
Project management qualification is an advantage.
