Our client have a strong focus on Product quality and sustainability and are going from strength to strength experiencing a sustained period of rapid growth over the last 5 years, now operating across multiple locations in the UK and Europe.

Role Description:

We are currently seeking an accomplished and visionary Operations Director to join our dynamic manufacturing client's team with the responsibility to look after 2 sites. As the Operations Director, working with the SLT team, reporting into the Shareholders and managing directors, the Operations Director will be responsible for leading operational functions across the group, directing strategies, planning, delivery, and reporting all core operational capability. The Operations Director will work closely with site General Managers to increase site performance, operational efficiency, cost control and yield.

Location: Cambridgeshire, with travel required to Norfolk

Working Hours: Monday to Friday day shift.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary up to £130,000 per annum.
£6,000 car allowance.
Circa 10-15% bonus based on performance.

Essential Experience

• Excellent leadership and people skills are essential. We want someone with a positive attitude and energetic
• Experience getting buy-in from teams to improve engagement and involvement levels.
• Able to motivate and drive teams for success.
• Coaching style of management with direct line reports, coaching teams in how to meet goals.
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to challenge robustly.
• Ability to develop operational strategies and prioritise effectively.
• Ability to report on metrics, KPIs and frameworks.
• At least 5 years previous experience in a large scale FMCG organisation in a Site Management role.
• Accountability of Health and Safety in a previous role.
• Experience of leading seasonal/agency staff.
