National Account Manager – Convenience
FMCG Food Business
A market leading confectionary food business are looking to appoint a NAM to identify and manage current Convenience relationships.
England – Homebased
Purpose of the role
Managing current customer relationships to deliver budgeted volume, revenue and margin in the UK. Responsible for NPD listings and activation, filling distribution gaps and promotional activity. Also accountable for negotiating business plans with key customers.
Key responsibilities
– Identify & unlock new opportunities in line with channel strategy.
– Deliver budgeted financials across Brand and Own label.
– Develop compelling business plans for assigned Customers.
– Negotiate all JBPs within agreed boundaries.
– Accountable for the full P&L for designated Customers
– Carefully and judiciously manage all trade spend to ensure full R.O.I
– Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Skills and experience
– A good understanding of Spar/Nisa and the convenience channel and associated route to market.
– Experience within the convenience channel is preferred but not essential.
– Managed the full P&L
– Graduate calibre (Business related degree) or equivalent experience
– Financial competency
Salary / Package
£45k + £5770 Car Allowance + Bonus
