My client is a well-known manufacture of one the UK’s most favourite brands. Due to expansion they are currently looking to strengthen their production team and hire a area manager who will be accountable for but not limited too:
•Ensure department compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, site policy / procedure and GMP
•Play an active role in continuously improving processes in order to improve quality & reduce customer/consumer complaints.
•To lead and motivate personnel using participative management and teamwork techniques in order to continuously improve products, safety, quality and cost in line with customer requirements.
•Ensure accurate movement/recording of all inventory transactions.
•Ensure the timely supply of materials to the manufacturing halls in accordance with the production plan.
•Accountable for adhering to budgeted product costing standards to deliver business critical KPIs.
•Organise resources to deliver agreed production plan on time and in full.
•Ensure planned maintenance activities are delivered
This role is all about people management and leadership.
With changes in the team the shifts would be on 3 shift rotational pattern (6-2, 2-10, 10-6 (Nights) or a double day shift role of (6-2, 2-10),
