Reporting to the Buying Director as the involved in the Sampling, Quality Coordinator and looking at exsiting products and improvments you will be responsible in ensuring the efficient planning, organisation and preparation of the Sampling process.
The role requires professional presentation of all food items in the required time frame to ensure smooth running of the sampling sessions. The role also includes database preparation, product testing, resource scheduling and the submission of sampling results and reports to the Buying Team.
The Sampling and Quality Coordinator will co-ordinate and facilitate the Standard Sampling process and the New Product Development process through close working relationships with the Sampling, Buying Assistant & Buying Director Team. The Sampling and Quality Coordinator will also build relationships with the relevant Specialist Teams.
Other tasks would include:
oImplement Food Safety Practices throughout the Sampling process.
oEnsures HACCP standards are implemented in all food preparation and storage areas.
oEnsures all correspondence is treated in the strictest confidence.
oEnsures the accuracy of all correspondence within agreed timelines.
oActs as the central point of communication for the Corporate Buying Department on QA matters.
oShould have full knowledge of the Quality Policies and Procedures

•Able to work a Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm.
