Job Description
If you are looking for the next step towards a Head of Engineering role, and have managed Maintenance Engineers in the UK manufacturing industry, then this might be your next role.
This is a single-site Maintenance Manager position, and the first priority will be building a team to replace the contract engineers. You would have a good degree of autonomy as to how to manage the department, while retaining support from the multi-site Head of Engineering. The site is well-invested, and the directors are implementing new IT systems to make the department more effective. There are also significant CapEx projects happening in the background, and the production capabilities of the site will be significantly greater in 12 months time.
If you took on this job, it wouldn't just be the daily maintenance operations that you spent your time on, there is scope for delivering departmental improvements in culture and behaviours, as well as processes and change management, along with reduction in expenditure.
Monday to Friday office hours
£55,000 – £60,000
25 days annual leave + statutory days
