Title: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40-44K
Shifts: Monday to Friday (Earlies, Backs, Nights)
Responsibilities:
– Conduct breakdown maintenance and fault finding to ensure seamless operations.
– Implement machine and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
– Install new machinery and equipment as needed.
– Diagnose faults promptly and execute necessary repairs.
– Complete planned maintenance tasks within set timelines.
– Uphold best practices in Health and Safety
– Respond swiftly to minimize unscheduled downtime and prioritize critical areas.
– Enhance equipment performance through continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on safety, efficiency, changeovers, and downtime reduction.
– Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance activities effectively.
Experience:
– Demonstrated leadership skills in a maintenance engineering role.
– Proficiency in maintaining logic controllers and interpreting schematics.
– Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English.
– Electrical and mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
– Experience in supervising maintenance teams is advantageous.
– Welding experience is a plus
