Advert: Multi- skilled Maintenance Engineer within a Food Processing Factory

Are you a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a challenging role in a modern food processing industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a reputable Food processor based in Brechin. If you are passionate about ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Remuneration:
Basic Salary: up to £40,000 per Annum. Dependant on experience
Saturdays. Paid at 1.5 time
Circa £2,000 on-call allowance for one in four weekends (Fri to Monday)
Overtime pay for any callouts outside of regular working hours.

Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of machinery and equipment within the factory .
Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of machinery.
Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to implement improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports on completed tasks and identified issues.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within fast paced production.
Must have completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship.
Hold recognized industry qualifications.
Knowledge both electrically and mechanically
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Good computing skills

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday two shift rotation:
(Early Shift: 4:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Late Shift: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM)
Saturday Working Hours
(6 hour shift, one week in 4)
