Job Description: Liquids Manufacturing Coordinator
Salary: £26,000 pro rata
Position Overview:
Due to ongoing business development, our client is looking for a Liquids Manufacturing Coordinator to support our Herbalist & Liquids Manager in the day-to-day running of our Liquids department. The successful candidate will effectively plan and carry out the manufacturing operations of the Liquids department regularly liaising with other departments within the business. As a hands-on role, regular manual handling of stock, packaging and bottling of products and cleaning of equipment will also be required.
Requirements:
• Plan and carry out the manufacturing operations in the Liquids department in
liaison with the Liquids Manager
• Making sure the department is audit ready including accurate and up-to-date
procedures, paperwork, labelling, storage, training, hygiene and housekeeping
• Coordinate and work with the warehouse team to achieve efficient physical flow
and movement of materials
• Monitor and control stock levels of raw materials for liquid product supply
• To assist in successful internal and external audits
• Operate and keep records in legal compliance with any Customs and Excise requirements around ethanol use and stock reconciliation.
• Keeping up to date with health and safety legislation in relation to the manufacture and distribution of herbal liquids
• Ensure that the correct production equipment and implements are available and adequately maintained/calibrated to appropriate hygienic and good manufacturing standards
• Cleaning of machinery, equipment and general warehouse areas
• Implementation and maintenance of quality assessment strategies to ensure liquid products are of the highest standard and meet applicable certification requirements

Package:
• £22,000-£26,000 per annum (FTE) dependent upon experience and qualifications – pro-rated for part-time hours
