My client who are a leading Food Manufacturer in Derbyshire are looking for an detail orientated and ambitious Laboratory Analyst to join their team. The Role – (including but not limited too)
• Conducting chemical analysis on the various components within the manufacturing processes
• Testing and analysis of raw materials
• Microbiological testing
• Packaging
• Physical and taste analysis of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods to ensure the technological quality and integrity of products
• Sampling, testing and analysis
The Candidate –
• Scientific background with a chemistry degree or similar
• Experience working with a laboratory would be beneficial as would knowledge of GC, HPLC and traditional wet chemistry
• Previous experience in instrument use such as a Karl Fischer Tirtration, Anton Paar Viscometer or a Soxtherm Extraction System desirable
• Detailed orientated, high level of accuracy, dedicated and able to work collaboratively
