Job Title: Junior Buyer
Location: Greater Derby Area
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000

Key responsibilities
Working closely with Group Procurement to manage through cost saving / mitigation projects through the site and provide sitebased information as required
Acting as the first point of escalation for any on site issues
Maintaining supplier relationships with our packaging, Ingredients and Indirects suppliers
Engaging with suppliers and internal NPD on product development ideas
Maintaining a relationship with the product development team to ensure a full awareness of new products being developed and ensuring we will have full availability on packaging and ingredients
Reviewing options for stock at risk, packaging write off etc.
Responsibility for the procurement of packaging and ingredients across all sites
Profile
procurement experience within a relevant industry (FMCG)
