Retail Business Development Manager

DR Newitt is currently working with a growing SME who manufacturer premium products for the retail channel. They are on the lookout for a talented BDM who will have responsibility for developing new business with the UK’s major retailers.
We are looking for candidates with experience within food manufacturing, who can consistently display a proven ability in developing own label business in a fast paced environment. You will take responsibility for executing the sales strategy to deliver expected volume, sales and margin results.
This is what is expected of you in this BDM role:
Responsible for ensuring year on year growth and developing & continuously improving effective partnerships with customers.
Grow sales, profitability and customer market share through sustainable initiatives.
Align business plans with the customer category teams in order to drive and optimise sales & margin for the company within agreed budget and strategic guidelines.
Own the customer satisfaction & commercial performance KPIs.
Take responsibility for the day to day requirements of the customer and managing the day to day account issues.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate must have experience in working within the bakery food categories. We are looking for someone that can demonstrate a proven ability in developing own label business in a fast paced environment.
