The Company
I'm working with a successful FMCG industry leader who manufacture chilled food products who are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join their team at their site in Dorset. The Inventory Manager position will be joining a well-established, friendly, and confident team.
The Role
This position is an on-site position. Your duties will include (but not limited to).
• Managing 2 direct reports- Raw materials and packaging call offs.
• Proactively monitor deliveries of raw materials to site, work through any issues with supply chain manager and escalate as and when needed.
• Responsible for identifying MRP requirements, ensuring that production plans and scheduling requirements are met.
• Work closely with the planning team to create production plans to fulfil demand.
The Candidate
To be considered for this position you will need excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll also need.
• Experience from Supply Chain/Manufacturing- preferably within food
• Advanced IT Skills, you will need to be advanced with Excel
• Confident with ERP/WMS systems
• Experience with minimising write off costs
