We are on the lookout for an energetic and passionate Inventory Controller to join our team and help us become a leading brand for bitesize adventures. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our ambitious growth plans, ensuring a seamless supply chain and efficient inventory management through collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of formal business-wide Inventory Management procedures, including continuous improvement projects and external site stock-takes in collaboration with the Supply Finance department (occasional travel may be required).

• Maintain accurate physical vs. system stock records to ensure efficient downstream systems and processes. Regularly review stock levels at all national and international 3PL sites and collaborate with the Planning team to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Manage daily WMS and 3PL-related transactions to ensure accurate and error-free stock control.

• Generate stock holding and movement reports for month-end reconciliations at all locations. Provide regular performance reports to relevant stakeholders across the business.

• Work closely with 3PLs to ensure high stock accuracy and integrity, conducting root-cause analysis to address discrepancies.

• Enhance claims and damages procedures in line with 3PL SLA performance.

• Monitor stock levels against KPI targets and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive continuous improvement, best practices, and controls in inventory procedures.

• Participate in and enable processes for slow-moving and obsolete inventory control.

Required Experience:

• A wider understanding of Inventory Management principles and processes, data analysis, and KPI reporting.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Project Management experience, with the ability to identify areas of improvement and work independently and as part of a team.

• Advanced ability to navigate and use stock control systems effectively.

• Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.

• Working knowledge of Warehousing and Logistics operations.

Desirable Experience (not essential but advantageous):

• Experience with Sage 200 or other ERP systems.

• Previous experience in the FMCG food product manufacturing business.
