Role Overview:
As the Hygiene Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness across the manufacturing site. You will lead a team of hygiene technicians, set and enforce standards, and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a hygienic and compliant environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of hygiene technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and implement robust cleaning schedules, procedures, and protocols to maintain exceptional hygiene standards.
Conduct regular inspections of the manufacturing site to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and standards.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and maintenance, to address hygiene-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and enforce strict adherence to personal hygiene practices and the use of appropriate protective equipment among staff.
Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of equipment, machinery, production areas, and facilities, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation of cleaning activities, records of inspections, and corrective actions taken.
Stay updated on industry regulations, emerging trends, and best practices related to hygiene and sanitation in the food manufacturing sector.
Foster a culture of hygiene awareness and compliance, conducting regular training sessions and promoting a positive safety culture.
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in a similar hygiene leadership role within the food manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of hygiene regulations, standards, and best practices, including HACCP and food safety requirements.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in using hygiene equipment, cleaning agents, and sanitization techniques.
Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends, as required.
Relevant certifications in food hygiene and safety are highly desirable.
