Job Title: Health and Safety Lead

Location: Northumberland

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety program, involving all employees through various channels such as conversations, observations, safety briefs, etc.
• Support site management in enhancing health, safety, and environmental practices by providing advice and proposing improvements.
• Assist in defining working instructions and standards to align with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and legal requirements, reviewing them annually for relevance.
• Maintain and communicate necessary tracking information related to accidents, incidents, and health evaluations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Health and Safety role within the FMCG industry, preferably in the food or drink sector.
• Expertise in environmental management, quality assurance, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of legal requirements and best practices related to Health, Safety, and Environmental matters.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive positive change.
