My client is a fantastic chilled food business in Wrexham and is looking for a HR Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be a passionate people-person who wants to get onto the factory floor and build relationships with the staff.
You will report to and work with the HR Manager, providing an effective and efficient advisory and administrative support to all employees.
You will be the first point of contact for all HR related queries and assist in ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered too, ensuring fairness across working practices and help deliver the HR strategy.
You will cover for HR Manager in periods of absence.
Be the first point of contact for all HR related queries, providing sound advice and guidance.
All HR administrative duties such as starters – contracts of employment, leavers, change to terms and conditions, probationary reviews, one to ones, absence monitoring etc
Support on all case management
Maintaining and updating employee records
Assist in the implementation of specific HR projects
Assist in the management of live vacancies
Be first point of contact for temporary staff requirement agencies and manage the day-to-day pipeline requirements of new starters
Work with the Training Manager to agree and schedule new starter inductions and recruitment open events in line with business requirements
Previous experience of working in a similar role
CIPD Level 3 qualification
Sound knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment compliance
Self- motivated and ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
Excellent communication skills
A can do and positive attitude to work and others
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business
