A leading UK client, in UK, EU and USA markets within innovative food manufacturing has an opportunity for a HR Business Partner.
This role is a business-critical position that will involve working with the Senior Teams within the business to strategize and plan for the future.
The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience in a similar role, having managed a HR team of at least 2 people.
The Role
• Be the expert on all HR matters, providing leadership and solutions for managers and employees
• Create, own and provide HR policy guidance
• Deliver and facilitate effective training and mentoring for managers, for them to be able to carry out HR activity with confidence
• Consult with managers and provide daily HR guidance
• Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale,
• increase productivity and retention
• Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
• Identify training needs for individuals and teams
• Implement learning and development programmes
• Suggest new and improved HR strategies
• Lead on performance and reward initiatives
• Provide insights and benchmarking of external industry developments and opportunities
• Build and manage great internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Lead employee engagement and investing in people activity
• Provide ownership and sponsorship for key transformation activity, ensuring all change
• And project activity is met on time
• Own the relationship and account manage our employer of record partner
The Candidate
• Able to effectively coach and give constructive feedback to colleagues
• Senior leadership experience and a proven track record of HR partner delivery
• Deep understanding of HR policies and strategies
• Ideally experienced in the consumer goods sector
• Highly skilled at situational management
• Natural ability to adopt, live, breathe and role model brand values and principles
• A passion for employee experience, that is evident and genuine in everyday activity
• Able to work well in a team, understands team dynamics and how the get the best of them
• Good understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies and how to bring them to life
• Analytical skills to interpret data and turn insights into actionable plans
• Good understanding of agile methodology to deliver change initiatives
• The ability to take the initiative and solve problems rather than ask permission
• Self-motivated and pro-active approach to challenges
• Able to work to rigid deadlines and is resilient
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to strategically plan and understand the impact of any work undertaken
• A great communicator who can work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, internally & externally in a global team
