Responsibilities:
• To provide and undertake administrative support & procedures relating to a wide range of HR activities including, but not limited to:
o Recruitment & Selection
o Talent Management
o Employee Relations
o Reward Issues
o Terms & Conditions of Employment and Policies and Procedures
o Learning & Development
• Implement HR policies, processes and procedures.
• Monitoring absence records and ensuring absence is monitored including for payroll purposes
• Provide support to HR projects and daily activities as requires
• Point of contact for matters relating to employment law ensuring the company acts legally at all times
• Preparation of standard letters including offer letters, contracts, promotions, resignation acknowledgements, reference requests, probationary reviews.
• Starter and leaver processes
• Oversee and support organisation of social and charity events
• Support talent and succession planning
• Support change management processes
• Oversee and manage performance appraisal process
• Any other ad hoc duties that as may be required

We’re looking for:
• 2+ years’ experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar job in a generalist role
• CIPD qualified (beneficial), or working towards
• Knowledge of food/manufacturing industry would be an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Very organised and methodical, ability to priorities, juggle multiple tasks adhere to tight deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously, fast learner, willing to take initiative
• Resilient and confident to interact with senior members of the management team
• Team player, able to work as part of a team providing help and support to all departments and the organization as a whole
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• Actively seeks to keep professional expertise up to date, to acquire new skills and knowledge and to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
• IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy
• Ability to mediate, manage and resolve workplace conflict
