A new vacancy has arisen to join the company’s busy team, the role available is a Health, Safety and Training Coordinator and is situated in Central Scotland – a more specific location is available on the application. Reporting to the site Health, Safety and Training Manager, The Health, Safety and Training Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the coordinated management of the site Health and Safety.
The Role:
• Daily site policing of all departments to proactively ensure compliance
• Establish a positive cultural attitude towards health and safety
• Identify training requirements in the work force and follow up according
• Investigate and attend all accidents/incidents that occur and collate all information and create reports accordingly
• Provide assistance with all audits, both internal and external
• Risk Assessments -Review and amend risk assessments to ensure that all areas of the factory are assessed and are accurate.
• Safe Working Procedures – Assist with reviewing, writing and implementing new processes and procedures
• Maintain training files and matrix and ensure sign offs are up to date and audit ready at all times
The Candidate:
• Positive Attitude towards Health, Safety and Training within a business
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Train the trainer qualification would be advantageous
• Confident presentation skills and not afraid to speak to people
• Excellent communicator at all levels within a business
• Self motivated and able to work on own initiative
• Able to contribute actively as a team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Competent IT skills
