They are one of Scotlands largest FMCG producers and are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to assist at their site. Role Purpose:
We're seeking an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator. The role involves ensuring health and safety compliance, collaborating on industry and legal requirements, and promoting safe practices for a secure work environment.
Responcibilities:
•Promote safety through Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) observations.
•Conduct routine site inspections, including fire safety and first aid checks.
•Identify hazards, report non-compliance, and collaborate on risk mitigation.
•Perform internal H&S audits and ensure timely follow-up.
•Support accident/incident investigations.
•Develop safe work systems within SOPs with production teams.
•Maintain relevant SHE records, including incidents and COSHH.
•Support management in Risk Assessment review.
•Educate teams on near-miss reporting.
•Background in safety/health, preferably in food/manufacturing.
