This SME produces premium foods for all major retailers and this newly-created job will manage all supply chain departments, including Planning, Warehousing and Procurement and will sit on the Senior Management Team, with a real strategic input rather than just operational responsibilities. The overall objective is to bring sustainable change to the company's supply chain, improve supplier performance and deliver year-on-year cost-savings from the supplier base.
The person who gets this role will be someone who has the Supply Chain Management experience for another food business (which will definitely include planning departmental responsibility); history in delivering cost-savings; a track record managing multiple departments for a food manufacturer and good experience using ERP or MRP systems for multiple business functions.
£70,000 – £100,000 basic salary
£9,000 car allowance
