Head of Sales - plant based ingredients - progression to director, East Midlands

Job Description

This manufacturer of a protein based food ingredient solution that is unique and can add real value to plant based further processors are looking for a hands on sales person who can also set and lead strategy.

The business have a really strong natural ingredient proposition, it will help reduce some of the chemical additives in plant based manufacturers and they have been working on this new concept for a while and it is now ready to take to market,

This person will lead sales to UK and European plant based manufacturers. The product also has a potential application in broader food manufacturing that they may also pursue. The business is strongly backed and we are looking for someone who can become sales director in due course.

If you have a strong track record of selling ingredients to further manufacturers and ideally great knowledge of the plant based manufacturers then this role could be a great chance to get in with a new product with a great USP and move into a strategic role in time.

Salary guide circa £75-85k + car or allowance + bonus and potential to progress that salary further quickly.

Location is flexible but we need someone who can spend some time in the east midlands office most weeks.
