Job Title – Head of Sales (Food Service)
Our client is a huge food service supplier with a large market share, who are seeking a driven and collaborative Head of Sales to join their Midlands team. This role will be responsible for developing the sales strategy with the GM (£100m+ depot turnover).
Key Responsibilities:
• Outlining and implementing the overall sales strategy for the depot alongside the GM.
• Lead the team to identify and maximise all sales and revenue growth opportunities.
• Getting the most out of your team (8 field sales, 1 internal sales + telesales team) and leading them to reach their potential.
• Prospecting new clients to build the account base and increase revenue streams.
• Work closely with Senior Managers and Regional Account Managers.
Ideal Candidate must haves:
• Experience in leading and developing a team to gain customer loyalty and increasing profits.
• Understands the market sector – has worked for a food distributor, supplier, or wholesaler.
• Existing key relationships and contacts of decision makers to grow the business.
• Understands how to get the most out of people within their team through communication, coaching and development.
• Genuine passion for food!
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Drive, determination, tenacity, adaptability, results driven.
Location – Birmingham – Malvern, Worcester, Stratford, Shrewsbury, Coventry, Cannock, Leek
Package – up to £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
