Engineering Projects Manager, East Anglia

I have a new and exciting Project Management opportunity within a long standing food manufacturing business undergoing significant development.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and Site Directors, the purpose of this position is to lead and complete ongoing and upcoming projects with a business undergoing significant investment and expansion.
- To ensure the effective planning, co-ordination and allocation of project engineering capability required to deliver projects and contracts to meet the safety, cost, quality and schedule requirements.
- To manage and monitor the quality of engineering solutions and identify the technical skills required to deliver projects successfully.
- To provide expertise into and facilitate the development and presentation of engineering proposals and solutions.
? Overall planning, co-ordination and implementation of Capital Projects across the site including all manufacturing areas and all offices.
? Services management with regards to energy, water, refrigeration, heating and gas.
? Service upgrades.
? Future factory builds including project scoping and planning.
? Feasibility and compliance studies.
? Budgetary management for ongoing and upcoming projects in the region of £100k to £10M.
? To manage installation of new plant and equipment on site.
? CAD Design for projects including site and line layouts.
? Future project scoping and past projects analysis/snagging.
? Management of contractors onsite in line with site control of contractors policy
? Ensure the site H&S policy is adhered to at all times
? Any other duties that maybe reasonably requested to meet business needs.
? Ensure Lean manufacturing is thoroughly thought of during all project work.
? Management of internal and contract staff for the progression and development of ongoing projects.
Professional skills (Required education and work experience)
? Elec/Mech qualifications (HNC / HND or equivalent)
? Extensive Project management experience.
? Relevant Project Management qualifications.
? Proven knowledge of food industry preferably within the meat sector.
? Proven delivery of £1M plus projects.
? Experience in using CAD software to a presentable standard.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Ability to work under pressure.
? Strong speaker and motivator.
? Able to delegate duties and effectively allocate workloads.
? Read and write English language and experience of report writing.
? Ability to manage complex projects.
? Flexibility to deliver all aspects of work requirement in a timely manner.
