General Manager, Yorkshire
Job Description
If you are looking for a career changing opportunity, then I think this General Manager vacancy could be for you. We are looking for someone who can take a multi-functional team and lead them through a transition period.
In this post you will lead the team ensuring all assets and resources, including plant people and capital are developed in the most effective and efficient manner with a high level of empathy. You will be involved in high commercial decisions on a weekly basis, so you will need to have had that exposure before.
This role will be based in Yorkshire but also commutable from all of the surrounding Counties. The salary and packing on offer will start around the £100,000 mark and will be up for negotiation.
To be considered for this role you will have to have the following
• Experience of managing a large process and packing operation with 200+ employees and building a management team to effectively drive this forward.
• Development and delivery of a site strategic plan.
• Ability to lead effectively through engaging and inspiring teams.
• Management of a diverse and complex situations where ambiguous and conflicting priorities require careful and accurate assessment, within FMCG preferably the food industry.
