Forage Project Manager
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Agronomist to join their team. This role is home-based with the expectation of on-the-road travel across the UK.
Brief Description
To develop, provide and manage technical information and dissemination to staff, customers and other stakeholders to support the UK forage sales effort and the wider European initiatives where necessary
Key Responsibilities
Manage marketing trial development and demonstrations in conjunction with business and farm partners to develop technical data to assist with the sales effort.
Proactive communication with associated partners and stakeholders to understand and help maintain technical credibility and relevance of DLF product offers.
Assist in future product developments including with CIT groups.
Participate in relevant shows, conferences and technical events.
Provide technical angles for work colleagues to effectively market products and concepts.
Provide advice and technical sales support to colleagues and customers to populate social media, websites and brochures.
Provide point of technical reference to technical, KIP & Media people.
Provide on farm support in resolving customer issues.
The successful candidate will report into the Forage Seeds Manager with dotted line to the Technical Manager.
