Responsibility for efficient and effective running of both the purchase & sales ledgers
Cash forecasting & Management. Managing quarter end payment targets
Capital reporting and forecasting. Working with Engineering/Project managers to review progress vs. authorised proposals.
Overhead reporting & forecasting. Holding reviews with Cost Centre managers to ensure spend inline with forecast and spend reduction plans in place

Strong ERP knowledge

Although there is a large element of reporting in the role, they are not just looking for a 'desk accountant’ as there is a big requirement for the role to interact with and influence colleagues across the business, which is imperative for a Finance professional working in the manufacturing industry.
