Farm Engineer
Job Description
Position: Multi-skilled Engineer.
Salary: £42,000-45,000
Location: Staffordshire
Shifts:
Monday to Friday (during winter months)
4 on 4 off Days (peak months)
Some flexibility for ‘on call’ night shifts

The role of Farm Engineer:
Vehicle and Plant servicing
Fault Diagnosis
Routine maintenance
Field based repairs
Carry out planned preventative maintenance using the agreed schedule
Assistance on building and development of new machines
A successful candidate should have:
Experience and knowledge of agricultural machine maintenance.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Strong ability for diagnostics and repairs
Able to prioritise and manage own workload
Enthusiastic, methodical and assertive
Flexible working principles
Excellent communication skills
Strong health and safety awareness.
NVQ Level 3 Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Suitable and relevant engineering (Food or similar manufacturing primarily)
