Our national food manufacturing client is offering an exciting, dynamic position as a Factory Planner in their operations facility in Kent. It’s an engaging, sough-after role where you’ll be instrumental in the processing of customer orders into production orders, MRP and scheduling to hit required delivery dates for other sites. The Role:

You’ll be forming part of a planning team and taking care of duties involving scheduling based on parameters such as capacity, allergens, and date. Stock checking, updating the planning system with orders, and working closely with our customer service department are some of the various responsibilities that you’ll be undertaking alongside your supportive fellow planners. This role ensures the smooth running and completion of production in the company’s sites, so your effort, and initiative will be poured into meaningful, and important work.

Responsibilities:
• Adding production orders to the planning system as sales orders.
• Dealing with key customer forecast data to raise production orders to match demand.
• Pushing factory performance via smart planning.
• Liaising with our Customer Service Departments
• Planning blending
• Checking stocks of packaging.
• Scheduling packing lines as needed.
• Sending out frequent schedule updates.
