Job Description
Our client is one of the UK’s leading Food brands. The Food Industry is very fast paced, demanding, and constantly developing, therefore the people the company looks to join them have a great personality and the drive to exceed the customers’ expectations.
A new vacancy has arisen to join the company’s busy team, the role available is a Factory General Operative and is situated in Shetland – a more specific location is available on the application.
The Role:
• Handling of fresh & Frozen products for Quality Control purposes.
• Packing fresh products into boxes.
• Operating equipment safely.
• Cleaning of equipment at end of shift.
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean & tidy.
• Report any faults to Supervisor.
The Candidate:
• There are no specific qualifications required but previous experience & knowledge of working in a food production environment would be an advantage.
• Ability to work long shifts.
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team with other staff.
• Knowledge of factory health & safety requirements.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Experience in a Food Production Environment.
• Proficient in English and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy.
