Client
I am working with an exceptional client who are a leader within the industry. They are looking to add an experienced engineering manager to lead a team of 25. This role will be perfect for an experienced manager within FMCG

Location: West Midlands
Role
Lead the coordination and identification of plant improvements with Departmental Managers
Lead a team of Maintenance Manager, Engineering Stores, Engineering Shift Managers and Engineers to diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns, assessing best course of action and conducting a root cause investigation to eliminate the likelihood of re-occurrence
Project lead for all installations, overhaul of equipment and plant, working with suppliers to ensure they deliver on time, on budget and with minimum disruption
Lead the implementation of a factory wide PM system and ensuring PM activity is carried out during factory downtime at the correct frequency to an agreed standard
Manage energy consumption related to factory cost and savings identifying energy control measures
Effectively manage an Engineering team including performance management, training, and development
Ensure that all projects are engineered to scope, budget, and relevant standard and regulatory compliance
To provide a framework for managing all Contractor activity on site, both within and outside production hours, and ensure all activity is managed accordingly
Ensure that delivery of agreed SLA standards is maintained where appropriate.
Requirements/Experience
Management experience within an engineering function.
Experience working in FMCG environment or similar fast paced manufacturing operation.
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Experience of managing Capex projects from design to sign off
In depth understanding of mechanical, electrical and logic control systems,
Experience of computerised maintenance management systems.
