ROLE

Acting as deputy to the Site Engineer, you will ensure all equipment, services, utilities and plant operate and meet productive legal and legislative requirements, plan, organise and control providers of external engineering support where skills do not exist internally and be responsible for all aspects of engineering. You will also get involved in managing small to medium capital and revenue projects and maintain building fabric and infrastructure to comply with relevant Technical standards. As a coach and leader you will develop your team to meet production deliverables.

CANDIDATE

A relevant qualification in an engineering discipline. Proven ability to build, mentor, motivate and lead teams through periods of technological and cultural change. Have a detailed engineering knowledge of modern continuous, production processes. Good working knowledge of associated disciplines including Project Management, Health and Safety and Food safety. Familiar with modern maintenance and manufacturing methodologies. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Food manufacturing experience is desirable although applications are welcome from other FMCG sectors.
