Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: West Sussex

Salary: £51,379

Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of factory and plant equipment.
-Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults independently.
-Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within defined timescales and to a high standard.
-Collaborate with the Production, Engineering, and Technical/Quality teams.
-Maintain accurate engineering documentation and plant maintenance records.
-Participate in installation of new equipment and plant alterations.

What We're Looking For:
-Formal engineering qualification (Mechanical/Electrical) with apprentice training or time-served experience.
-Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
-Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
-Experience in mechanical/electrical engineering; knowledge of steam/pressure systems or food manufacturing equipment is advantageous.
