Job Description
Position: Maintenance Engineer
Industry: Food Manufacturing
Role 1 – Multi Skilled Engineer (any bias however both required)
• Salary: £45,000 per annum
• Shift: Monday to Thursday (8pm-6am)
Role 2 – Electrical Bias Multi Skilled Engineer
• Salary: £40,290
• Shift: Monday to Friday Double Days (Shorter Friday Hours)
Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues in a timely manner.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within production
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
• Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications.
