Compliance Engineer
About the Role
As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring my clients' manufacturing facility adheres to all relevant regulations and standards. You will be responsible for managing and implementing compliance systems, conducting audits, and providing expert technical guidance to the engineering team.
You will deal with the Engineering side of Health & Safety, Quality Standards, Training and Development and Material Controls ensuring compliance
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Management: Oversee and manage all statutory and retailer engineering compliance requirements, including L8, LOLER, EAW, PSSR, Fire Alarm Systems, PUWER, and DSEAR.
Audit and Testing: Conduct regular audits and testing to ensure compliance with regulations and identify potential risks.
Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical advice and support to the engineering team on compliance matters.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance systems and records.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess compliance risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance performance and efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective compliance management.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Engineering Qualifications
Relevant Health and Safety Qualifications (IOSH or NEBOSH)
Strong understanding of engineering compliance regulations and standards
Experience in conducting audits and inspections
Excellent technical problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
