Our client, one of the most sustainable companies in its sector, are looking to take on an experienced Sales Manager to cover the West Yorkshire to Cheshire region. This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to work for one of the largest companies in its industry and with an excellent sense of direction. The successful candidate will have solid experience in Business Development.

Outline of the role

The position will prove vital to the company for reaching its goals within the UK, expanding new business, strengthening the market position and ensuring maximum financial growth in key target sectors and markets. The successful candidate will be delivering strategic goals, communicating with key business partners and stakeholders, acknowledging new business opportunities and managing existing accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Building the company’s market position through locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business relationships.
• Negotiating new business opportunities with detailed terms and structures.
• Develop the pricing strategy through suing financial analysis and past data.
• Work alongside the commercial department to recognise and gain customers through market segmentation and targeting strategy.
• Building relationships and liaising with key decision makers.
• Thoroughly researching market trends.
• Help Manage existing accounts.
• Making target monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Develop new customer and supplier opportunities in all sectors of the business.

Essentials for the candidate

• Extensive experience in business development.
• Must have a background in waste management.
• Very strong communication traits – liaising with senior positions.
• Working to meet targets.
• A tough negotiator.
• Full driving license.
