Job Description

Our client, a global packaging company with the highest sustainability motives, has informed us of a new opening on their site in West Lothian. They are in search for a Customer Service Coordinator who will liaise and work with certain customers with new product developments, support from enquiry level, through to approval and prior to orders being placed. Also supporting the sales team with pricing and other sales aspects.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Processing and coordination of structural and artwork enquiries received from designated customers (from enquiry through to approval including pricing)
• Ensure our customers new product launches are delivered on time
• Pricing for customers linked to the overall pricing policy and margin objectives for SAICA Pack Scotland
• Recharging of NPD costs including cutting tools and printing plates
• Supporting our customer service team and our commercial team with NPD / origination recharge and day to day pricing as and when required
• Supporting our commercial team on margin improvement activities and dealing with new business (Tender) opportunities as and when required
• Be part of the overall customer service team and support our efforts to improve our efficiencies and maximise our level of customer service
• Supporting the control of variable cost control within our business

Desirable traits

• Driven by excellence in customer service standards
• Excellent PC Skills required: Excel and Word
• Previous experience required within a customer service and/or pricing commercial environment
• Self-motivated and committed with proven organisation, priority, and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail with strong communication skills, verbally and written
• A flexible and adaptable attitude
• Able to work under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines
• Team orientated and have ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

What the job Offers

• Salary – up to £26,000
• 37.5 hours pw
