BASED CUMBERNAULD- Permanent position

ROLE

Purpose

Responsible for conducting all administrative tasks and duties as required within the Supply Chain department, fully co-operating with all other functional team members, to always ensure the effective running of the department. This is a pivotal role who will work closely with all internal and external customers.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, main duties will include:

• Deputies for Customer Service Lead and other colleagues as required.
• Order input manual & EDI.
• Point of contact for Sales team.
• Allocating orders.
• Acknowledge & create PO's order processing.
• Create Export Documentation as required.
• Create shipping manifests.
• Create & print shipping pallet labels.
• Book deliveries to offsite locations.
• Manage daily deliveries and despatches.
• GRN for OV POD’s
• Support invoicing processes as required.
• Ensure accurate filing of documents relating to all transactions.
• Support data collection for key metrics, shortages, Dashboards.
• Pre alert local Mgt & Sales of transport issues affecting customer deliveries.
• Support MLOR process
• Be proficient in use of SAGE or similar ERP

CANDIDATE

Essential

? Possessing a good degree of numeracy and literacy (English language).
? Excellent attention to detail.
? Computer literate to at least basic level
? A collaborator who fully co-operates with others to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational areas affected by own work.
? Able to prioritise own work to ensure the customer service team fully support all areas of the business e.g. Sales & Marketing, Warehouse, and production, NPD & Technical
? Effective communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to other functional areas within the business.
? Able to complete all requisite documentation legibly and accurately.

Desirable

? Able to work under pressure without letting standards slip below the minimum requirements.
? Flexible in approach to meet changing demands without compromising operational efficiency.
? Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

The role has arisen due to an internal promotion so career progression potential is present for the right candidate.

Work Pattern: Monday-Thursday (9am-5pm) & Friday (8am-4pm)- Office based
