Our client, a global manufacturer in the FMCG industry has notified us of the requirement for a Customer Service representative based at their site in the North-East of England. You will serve as a team member who are key point of contacts for all customers with the manufacturer. The department holds responsibility for the process of orders and precise execution through each stage of the supply chain.
Responsibilities
• Capture and conversion to delivery – manual and system generated orders
• Maintaining stock levels to meet demand for orders – identifying problems and identifying solutions
• Settling any customer enquiries in an efficient manner
• Liaising and building relationships with commercial account managers, finance, and planning
• Improving the customer service effectiveness and customer engagement levels which are measured by 3rd party surveys
• Daily liaising with customers and 3rd party logistics suppliers
• Observing 3rd party delivery performance to ensure all KPIs are adhered
• Support the wider Customer Service Team during busier periods
• Drive continuous improvement throughout
Requirements from the candidate
• Preferably a qualification to degree level
• Experience in using ERP systems – SAP
• Continuous Improvement/Lean methodologies
• Strong communication skills
