Culinary Development Chef, Holland

Job Description

My client are a global food manufacturer with sites all over the world; they are expanding their team and looking for a Culinary Product Developer. You will be the culinary lead on site and your main task will be to inspire and drive the Innovations team.

This role is to be base at their site in the Netherlands.

They are looking for a candidate with a strong culinary background who has the commercial acumen to work in a very customer facing position as well as being a passionate foodie who can set and drive culinary standards on site.

The role:
• Developing new recipes and product application for food service customers, using a range of the branded products.
• Working with the commercial team, to provide innovation expertise to major food service customers.
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders as well in customer meetings to discuss NPD ideas and assist the commercial team in briefing customers on product range.
• Working from the central head office, with occasionally EU travelling involved to production locations, customer meetings and product presentations.

The candidate:

Will ideally has experience as a professional chef for at least 5 years, including a great network within the food industry. Next to that you will have had a position as Culinary or Development Chef in food manufacturing for at least 5 years.

Will enjoy customer facing positions, attending customer meetings and working with closely with the sales team to brief customers on new products.

Salary and Package

60-70K (Euro) Relocation support Full package
