Financial Controller Vacancy – Leading International FMCG Manufacturer
Our client are a rapidly growing FMCG manufacturing group who have a new, all-encompassing vacancy for a Financial Controller at their site in Surrey. This is a position offering big progression and the chance for someone to come and put their own stamp on a long-term role and grow a team.
Purpose of the role:
Management of the group's accounting and tax information, and financial reporting.
Supervision of the UK business unit collections and payments.
Support the UK Country Manager in all fiscal aspects of running the UK subsidiary
Management and development of the UK Finance team
Complete account keeping of the subsidiary,
Management of bank accounts and all associated communication.
Responsible for filing taxes / NI together with support from company tax advisor.
Analytical capacity: preparation of managerial reports (expenses, customers aging, inventory…)
Monitoring and control of payments and receipts.
Profitability analysis by clients
Profitability analysis by products
Treasury control: forecast of future cash flows.
Reporting to the financial reporting matrix.
Reconciliation of supplier balances and INTERCO operations.
Preparation of annual and monthly budget.
Analysis of budget deviations (FORECAST).
Managing payroll and employee leave
Management of pensions and insurances.
Projects involvement: New CRM installation, FOREX control etc.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree in Business Administration / Economy / Bachelor degree in Accounting (or similar accounting qualification)
3 Years’ experience in similar position
International FMCG experience
