Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join our clients team.
Our client is a successful food processing business. Working alongside the senior site leadership this new role will work towards focusing on a wholesale of business improvement projects.
The role:
To support & sustain the existing Management Control System by providing hands on approach to Factory departments in improving performance & acting as a change agent.
Achieve improvements within the Company's safety, environmental & quality frameworks whilst developing team work & a C.I. culture.
Operational duties include coaching staff, day to day problem solving activities & auditing key processes within the Management Control System.
Departmental administrative duties including compiling reports, assisting in data collection & analysis, & presenting information in a clear and concise manner. Departmental support may include off-line training, coaching & hands on methods of practical support, guidance & delivery in C.I. techniques and application.
To develop existing processes & assist with the introduction of new working practices, lean techniques & new site technology (working closely with multi-disciplinary teams).
Support in the development & implementation of improvement plans with the factory management team.
Provide practical support to factory in relation to problem solving & efficiency improvements. Play a key role in resolving manufacturing & supply chain issues using problem solving techniques.
The candidate
Essential
Experience of working with CI and implementing new processes and styles
Motivated self-starter
Process driven individual with attention to detail
A completer - finisher
Excellent communication skills
Additional responsibilities of assisting in senior decision making within the organisation may be a possibility for the right candidate

Experience of dealing with various departments in an organisation
Food Manufacturing background
