Job Title – Commercial Assistant (Food Manufacturer)
Prestigious large food manufacturer (over 250 employees) with over 75 years trading experience.
Our client are seeking a commercial assistant to join the team. This role will be supporting the Customer Account Manager with grocery retail channel clients.
This opportunity gives fantastic exposure into the grocery retail market!
Growth and development opportunity – progressing into more senior role working as direct contact for grocery partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Processing orders for all customers, updating any cover or changes
• Liaising with customers to resolve order issues and chase orders
• Providing insights through data analysis to add value to sales revenue and performance
• Research and identify potential customers for BD
• Identify product developments or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market or competitor activity
• Develop relationships within internal and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:
• Recent Business Management Graduate or relevant degree
• Or 1+ year experience – desirable but not essential
• Adept at managing database systems, excel, etc.
• Commercial awareness
• Honest, Quick Learner, Reliable, Ambitious, Motivated, Adaptable
Salary – Circa. £27-33k
Site based – Kent
