Assistant Production Manager/Bakery Manager

Are you an experience Shift Manager within a bakery product manufacturing environment or a Shift Supervisor who is looking for a step up in terms of responsibility?
My Client are looking for somebody of your profile to enable them ramp up production of bars, cakes and cookies within their already well established Food Manufacturing facility.
You will be in charge of around 30 staff and reporting into a Production manager/General Manager, ensuring that a high standard of products are produced day in day out. Your role is a hands on role, so experience in baking as well as management is essential.
This is a business who pride themselves on product quality and they already have an established network of customers outside of the UK for their current product offering.
Your role will include: -
Making sure that Food and Health and Safety is adhered to
Organising the bakery to increase efficiency and teamwork
Setting and maintaining KPIs
Training and development of staff
Working with other divisions of the business
Starting salary: £30,000
Hours are circa 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday
Bakery Management: 2 years
Management: 2 years
Baking: 5 years
