We're delighted to announce that we're working with an exceptional FMCG supplier with Head office based in Leeds who are currently looking to take on a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join their commercial team – both on the road and occasionally in office.
Business Development Manager
The Offer:
• Up to £60,000 + Commission (DOE)
• Company Car or Car Allowance
• Comprehensive Benefits Package
• Mostly WFH, largely on the road meeting clients
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing new customers, sectors, and markets both here in the UK and Ireland.
• Working with clients to drive commercials and establish tastes and development from concept to production.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts and maintain such accounts as long-term, profitable commercial relationships.
• Travelling to key clients to strengthen relationships.
• Commuting to the Leeds office at least once per week.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Must have at least 5+ years of experience in industrial sales (experience selling rubber products such as rubber chemicals & synthetic and natural rubber is highly desirable).
• Ideally a strong knowledge and understanding of rubber products.
• Strong interpersonal and communicative skills.
• A background in a highly client facing sales role, ideally have experience in field sales or an on the road account manager role.
• A full UK driving license (manual or automatic).
