Job Title – Business Development Manager (International + UK) – Vitamins, Minerals, Supplements
Our client is a leading manufacturer of Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements to health food stores, pharmacies, and groceries. Due to a continued period of substantial growth both in the UK and Internationally they have become one of the world’s most recognisable brands, which is testament their award-winning innovation programme and high standards of quality.
This BDM role is a crucial role for the business to primarily solidify and strengthen their distribution within EU countries (70%) as well as the UK (30%). You will be onboarding key distribution partners in both the EU and the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grow existing territories by building strong relationships with our distributors and putting in place strategic 12-month growth plans
• Identify new opportunities in both EU by conducting market visits and provide strategic growth plan to Head of Sales
• Grow UK distribution channels for online, pharmacy and Health Food Stores
• Look to expand Private label business with partners globally
• Ensure exemplary service to all distributors, retail chains and ensure orders are delivered on time & in full; NPD presentations to distributors; liaise with supply chain and regulatory team to ensure stock availability and lead times are managed efficiently
• Travelling to clients across the UK + Europe
Ideal Candidate:
• Consistent high performer across Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements or FMCG/Food Industries
• Must have delivered international growth direct to retail chains or 3rd party distribution partners
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and ensure International strategy is shared company wide
• A proven strong negotiator with a results focused mentality
• Commercial acumen
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude, being flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business
• Honest, Reliable, Ambitious, Motivated, Adaptable
• Prepared to travel across the UK and Europe according to the needs of the business
Home based, remote role – Visiting office once/week or fortnight
£40k – £50k + Car Allowance (TBC) + 15% Bonus + Private Healthcare + 6% Pension Cont. + Excellent Benefits
23.5 Holidays + BH (increasing by 1 day per year until 28.5 days)
